Volume Integration, LLC is looking for a mid to senior level Systems Administrator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, support, and monitoring of a virtualized mission critical data systems which are independent of the Enterprise Linux environment.
Minimum 5 years demonstrated on-the-job experience as a Linux Administrator installing, supporting and monitoring Linux servers in a virtualized environment, including the developing and maintaining of installation and configuration procedures, installing and maintaining security patches, performing daily system monitoring, investigating and troubleshooting issues, and upgrading and configuring systems.
Experience with Configuration Management tools, such as Puppet, Chef, and Ansible.
Experience with Continuous Integration/Deployment Tools, such as Jenkins.
Experience with scripting tools, such as PHP, Python, Perl or Ruby.
Demonstrated on-the-job experience working on mission critical data systems which are independent of the Enterprise Linux environment.
Demonstrated on-the-job experience leading / mentoring less experienced Linux Administrators.
Demonstrated on-the-job experience with Tomcat.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
5-15 years of related Systems Administrator experience.
