Job Description
 
Volume Integration is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed professional to fill the role of Contracts Manager in Reston, VA. 

Candidate will draft, negotiate and review multiple agreements and agreement types (ex. Firm Fixed Price, Time and Material, Labor Hour) on behalf of Volume Integration with our commercial, federal and state & local customers and re-sellers, prime contractors, and subcontractors.  This is a cradle to grave contract management position for a professional (15+ years’ experience).  All responsibilities will be conducted in conjunction with senior management.


Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Works closely with Management to review, negotiate and draft software license and service agreements, including enterprise on-premise licenses, managed services, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and cloud hosting, consulting, NDA, subcontracts, modifications, teaming agreements and other certifications and non-standard commercial and government requirements of various types. Reviews RFPs and assists in developing proposal responses to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Identify and address commercial, financial, legal and operational issues on complex matters and seek advice from management and other company personnel.
  • Significant knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and Defense Acquisition Regulations, and its supplements
  • Understanding of information security and privacy issues.
  • Coordinate with management to assist with drafting third party consulting agreements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers to collaborate and build strong relationships.
  • Ability to apply corporate legal and Company policies related to agreements to mitigate company risk specifically with respect to selling Software and Services to commercial and public sector customers.
  • Ensures that all documents conform to Company policies and applicable laws and government regulations.
  • Monitor contracts for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies and initiate corrective action as required.
  • Must be capable of working independently while managing competing priorities and keeping management fully informed.
  • Financial Analyses/Auditing/Reporting Support (DCAA)
  • Collaborate with business development personnel to analyze potential opportunities and provide input on risk factors, pricing strategies, number of personnel to perform, etc.
  • Develop pricing and cost buildups per RFP/RFQ information and agreed upon strategic approach
  • Research and collect data on all cost elements and potential cost elements such as country-specific labor laws or treaties the country may have with the US that affect US Contractors
  • Build complete cost/price scenarios to be reviewed by the COO so she can make well informed decisions and comfortably finalize pricing factors
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills are required.
